How to Prepare Your Home for a Cleaning Service (It's Less Than You Think)

The most common question we get from new clients is whether they should tidy up first. The honest answer: a little. We're there to clean, not to sort. Clearing clutter from counters, floors, and bathroom vanities lets us spend our time on the surfaces themselves rather than moving things around them.

Let us know about anything specific: a surface that needs a particular product, an antique that shouldn't be touched, a room that's off limits, or a pet who'd rather stay in the bedroom. Recurring clients only need to tell us once. The same team comes back and remembers.

You don't need to be home. Many of our clients give us a door code or leave a key, and we lock up when we leave. If you'd rather be there for the first visit to walk us through the house, that's welcome too, and it's often the best way to get the checklist dialed in.

Finally, if anything ever isn't right after a visit, tell us within 24 hours and we'll come back and fix that area at no charge. A good cleaning service should make life easier from the very first appointment, and a two-minute heads-up is all it takes to get there.
